A USB drive
for AI memory.
New knowledge, plugged into an existing model.
We’re developing memory modules that absorb new information while keeping the foundation model’s parameters fixed. Think of a USB drive for AI: knowledge that can be attached, updated, and swapped.
The first step is a model whose memory can grow after deployment, as new information arrives.

New pathways.
New capabilities.
Let a model grow new ways to learn.
Our growth methods introduce new neurons and trainable pathways into an existing model. The aim is to build specialized capabilities that can accumulate through successive rounds of learning.
We’re exploring how these pathways can be retained, combined, and grafted into other models—so an ability learned once can become a starting point for further growth.

A model that grows
beyond its own design.
Evolve its structure. Absorb capabilities from other models.
Imagine a model that can incorporate another model’s learned components into its own structure. Different networks could contribute useful capabilities, becoming parts of a larger, evolving intelligence.
Our longer-term research asks how a model could learn where and how to expand: which components to connect, which pathways to preserve, and how to keep learning as its architecture changes.
What growsWhat the model can become.
